LC: to use sentence starters to link ideas


With your talk partner, think of 2 sentences about school uniform
- one FOR and one AGAINST wearing school uniform -
using the linking phrases above.
LC: to note and develop ideas
Let's practise the oral text map.


We will use the Junk food essay as our
model text.
Using the ideas from yesterday's discussion, complete the table with 3 ideas for and 3 ideas against the topic.
Add ideas for the introduction and conclusion.
Should children wear uniform in school?

LC: To divide whole numbers to create fractions; to be able to create mixed numbers and improper fractions when dividing whole numbers.



LC: To revise and recap apostrophes.
