LC: To use shared reading to explore the dilemma of the story.

 

We are going to use a drama technique called conscience alley to explore Gromit's dilemma in the story 

Gromit knows about Miss Bake O’ Light’s misdemeanours and wonders what to do?

First talk with your partner - what suggestions do you have? Should Gromit tell Wallace? How could he convince him? Or should he keep the knowledge to himself?

Now use some of the ideas from Conscience Alley in this scenario:

In pairs take on the role of  Gromit and a friend who he calls to discuss his findings about Miss Bake O’ Light. 

Next we will write some of this dialogue.
