LC: Can you predict, assess and manage risk in different situations?
During half term, clocks were changed to make them an hour earlier. Changing the clocks back in autumn is called Daylight Saving Time (DST) ending, and it marks the return to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in the UK, resulting in darker evenings and later sunrises.
We are going to be learning how to keep ourselves safe during this time.

In your talk partners improvise the text through role play.

- Say/repeat the word – multiple times.
- Clap syllables and make links with phonics.
- Use dictionaries to find their meanings and thesaurus to find synonyms.
- Discuss meanings.
- Act out the word.
- Make connections.
- Say the word in sentences.
Then, applying spelling rules (from Y2) change their endings when in past and present tense. Write sentences with the new vocabulary.
