I: Where are the ghosts dancing? How do you know?

C: Look at the fourth verse. How does the phrase memories flood the spectres’ faces help us to understand how the ghosts are feeling?

Today our Punctuation Warmup and the main part of our lesson are combined into one as we practise our skills in writing dialogue ready to include in our writing!

Today you are going to create dialogue for when the children meet the monster for the first time.

Help me say then write this dialogue.

In pairs, orally rehearse your scene. You will then write the dialogue in your book and add it to your plan.

The -our at the end of the root word is changed to -or before the -ous suffix is added.

There are not many words that this rule applies to.
