What is a complex sentence?

Sunita would pass the test if she worked hard.

If she worked hard, Sunita would pass the test.

The boys put on their wellington boots because it was raining.

The water kept trickling from the tap while the plumber was trying to repair it.

While the plumber was trying to repair it, the water kept trickling from the tap.

Teachers love the holidays when they get a chance to relax.

Some subordinating conjunctions are:
