Today we are going to write our heading, the introduction and the first stage.
Before we begin, we need to create a success criteria for our explanation text and add it to our learning wall! What do we need to include?

Today we will look at the heading, introduction and stage one on your plan. I have blocked out the parts that you do not need to look at for today.

By the end of today's lesson, you will have one title and two different headings. I am going to write about the life cycle of an acorn tree as an example. You are going to follow my example, but write about the life cycle of a flowering plant.
