Activity time

Use present tense for non-chronological reports.
We are going to use the notes we made last week to write full sentences in a paragraph.
Think about how you can use the knowledge you have gained in Year 2 to improve your writing.
We will be looking for:
- capital letters and full stops
- present tense verbs
- subheading
- vocabulary linked specifically to owls
- sentences that make sense

Tim Peake accomplished a lot and is very inspirational.
- He became so experienced with flying that he became an instructor, teaching others this challenging profession.
- By 2009, Tim Peake had spent a whopping 3000 hours flying for the military. This allowed him to become a test pilot, where he flew planes that needed to be tested for their new features, experimental equipment and challenging manoeuvres.
- Tim Peake was the first British person to do a spacewalk: a period of physical activity done outside of a spacecraft, by an astronaut.
