Monday
To plan and discuss what to write about.
Let's start by going through our story to tell using the story map we have created and the actions.
It's really important to learn the punctuation, so we can use this in our writing!!
When we write our own story, it is going to be similar to this one, but we can create our own twist.
We will keep the same start and the same end, but we can change what happens in the middle. Today is your chance to share your ideas with your partner then the rest of the class about what that twist might be.
Will Arty meet new characters on his bridge?
Will Arty shout something different when he meets the billy goats?
Share your ideas with your partner. Your teacher will record them on the Learning Wall.
To be able to subtract ones from a 2-digit number without renaming.
What similarities and differences can you find between the Arctic and Pacific Ocean?
Talk to your partner, what do we already know about these two oceans?
You are going to research an ocean as a group and then complete a Top Trump card on what you have discovered!
