Orally planning and rehearsing ideas for an innovated story.

Today we are going to start to change the story. We are going to change the new character and who Harry helps.

Have a look at the pictures/list of the characters that appear in the story.

We are going to do one together and then you are going to create one of your own.

We are going to change the mouse to the bird.

Draw the new character, in the blue boxes. But you cant choose a bird!

Once you have chosen your main character, now you need to choose another animal for your new character to help. This will be in the orange boxes.

Now we have our new characters, we need to think how they can help each other.

Think about where the animal getting stuck?

What could it get stuck on or in?

Or could an item of clothing fall off and get stuck?

A boot or a scarf?

Where could it get stuck on?

We will add it to our class story map.

Now you can add your own problem to your story map.

Draw this in the big black box at the top.

Adaptive teaching- shorter story and map.

Can we investigate the senses we are using?

We are going to be going over to the Steam Hub, where we have different sense stations to visit.

You have to draw one item/object for each sense and write a label to describe it.
