LC: To know why the Torah is so important to Jewish people. (Significance)

This half term our focus question is: 

Do people need laws to guide them?

The Jewish story of Moses 

It is believed that the Torah was dictated to Moses by God when a covenant had been made with the Jewish people after they had been freed from slavery in Egypt. 

The Torah was given to them to be a foundation of how to live as people of God.

LC: To know about the benefits of being outdoors and in the sun for physical and mental health. (Health and Wellbeing) 

To know about the benefits of sun exposure and risks of overexposure; how to keep safe from sun damage and sun/heat stroke and reduce the risk of skin cancer.  (Awareness)
