LC: to evaluate a text and understand how writers create effective action scenes

We are going to test the action toolkit we made!

Look at the model text below.

Let's find and label these action features:

- a blend of action and description

- emphasis of the power and size of the creature

- contrast in size between the hero and the creature

- powerful verbs (For example: race instead of ran/bellowed instead of said)

Use the toolkit to analyse these texts.

Label the features from the action toolkit that these texts have.

LC: To analyse the taste, texture, smell and appearance of a range of foods.
