Grammar Warm Up

LC: to use devices to build cohesion within a paragraph

Some causal conjunctions are very formal

and can be useful when writing

an explanation text.

 

Underline the causal conjunctions in these sentences:

 

a) She got angry because I copied her work.

 

b) Since you cannot come over to my house, shall I come to yours?

 

c) As it's so hot, we can wear shorts. 

 

d) As a result of his red card, he must miss the next match.
