History

Tuesday 25th March 2025

LC: To place periods of history and achievements on a timeline, using research.

In your History book, turn back to the 10th January 2025. With your talk partner look through all of your learning from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. 

What were the main achievements in each age? Write them down on your whiteboards.

Paleolithic

Mesolithic

Neolithic

Bronze Age

Iron Age

Today you are going to place periods of history on a timeline, using research to help.

Let's take a look at the websites below and highlight some of the achievements in each period. 

Stone Age

1. Cut out each period of history and stick them on the top row, starting with the earliest to the latest. 

2. Cut out the achievements and stick them under the correct time period.

Don't forget to use the above websites to help you put each achievement in the correct place.
