LC: Use the determiners ‘a’ and ‘an’ appropriately within sentences.
Take a look at these examples. Do they sound grammatically correct. Which sentences need improving?

Now write 2 sentences that contain the determiner 'a'.
Then write 2 sentences that contain the determiner 'an'.

LC: To learn how to plan healthy nutritionally rich meals.
Here are a selection of meals that each family member orders whilst out for tea one evening. We need to decide if the menu is balanced or not.
A Healthy Meal
Now go on to SEESAW and create your healthy plate.
Fill half of your plate with non-starchy vegetables.
Fill 1/4 of your plate with carbohydrates.
Fill 1/4 of your plate with a lean protein source.
Add a small portion of healthy fats.
