Tuesday

Listen to and follow simple instructions.

 You will need:

  • your jumper

First put your jumper on.

Next take your jumper off.

Then tell your partner exactly what you did in the correct order.

Finally give your partner instructions on how to put their jumper on.

You must do EXACTLY what you are told.

What are instructions?

Why are they important?

When might we need to follow instructions?

Now we are going to work in pairs to follow a set of instructions.

One person reads the instructions.

One person follows the instructions (without your partner seeing).

Then share what you have drawn together to see if it is correct.

To be able to find the mass of an object using non-standard units; to be able to use visualisation skills to estimate the number of units.

Let's recap our learning from yesterday - Talk partners
