How does weather affect the things we do?
What type of weather could be dangerous?
Sometimes rain can be a slight drizzle, quick shower or a heavy downpour which stops you playing outside.
Can you think of any extreme type of weather?
1 - Geography Weather
Summer can be a wonderful season, with lots of time spent outside enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. We can do certain things to keep ourselves safe in the heat:
- Try to keep your house cool
- Keep yourself well hydrated by drinking plenty of water
- Try to stay cool by taking cool showers
- Avoid too much exercise when very hot
- Apply sun cream
Say, and hold in memory whilst writing simple sentences which make sense.
Write simple sentences with different openings.
Today we are going to use the plan and ideas we came up with last week to write the end part of our own story. Remember to read where you finished yesterday before starting to write.
Your teacher will be looking for:
Capital letters for the beginning of sentences
Capital letters for names
Full stops to end sentences
Sentences that make sense
Finger spaces
Applying phonics knowledge
Neat handwriting
