 Today we are going to continue learning about the 'un' prefix.

Prefixes are a group of letters that change the meaning of a word when they are added to the start.

 

Below are words, once the ‘un’ prefix is added to the words, can you tell your partner what the new word means?

certain

well

happy

sure

tidy

Adding the ‘un’ prefix to some words doesn’t always work.
 

For example, the word sad would become unsad.

 

Now let’s write sentences using the ‘un’ prefix and joining word ‘because’.
