What makes something special?
Do you have a favourite or special book or story?
My favourite story is ‘Little Robin Red Vest’ I love how kind the little robin is in the story and how he get’s his red breast forever because of this.

I do have lots of favourite books as it is hard to choose, but some of my books are special for different reasons.
Some of my books are special because they were given at special times. Other books are special because they remind me of a special memory. This book is special because Mrs Hall met the author in the shop and she wrote a special message inside.

There are some books that some people believe that are even more special. This is because they believe these books contain messages from God. These are called holy or sacred books. We will be looking at two of these books which are special to Muslims and Christians.

As these are very special books they have to be treated with respect.

Christians believe that Jesus was the son of God and that he was born on Christmas Day. They believe that he was a gift from God
