LC: Explain the impact of believing that the Quran is the divine revelation
What is divine revelation?
Believing that the Qur’an is a divine revelation means that Muslims think it is the word of God (Allah) given to the Prophet Muhammad. This belief can impact their lives in many ways:
-
Guidance for Life: Muslims try to follow the teachings in the Qur’an to know what is right and wrong. It helps them make good choices.
Example: Being kind, honest, and fair to others. -
Daily Worship: Muslims read or listen to the Qur’an during prayers. It helps them feel close to God and remember His rules.
-
Moral and Personal Behaviour: Believing the Qur’an is from God encourages Muslims to act in ways that please Him.
Example: Helping people in need, being respectful, and forgiving others. -
Celebrations and Special Times: During Ramadan, Muslims read the Qur’an more carefully and try to follow its teachings more closely.
-
Comfort and Strength: When going through a difficult time, Muslims read or listen to the Qur’an to feel comforted and remember that God cares for them.
