The stage lights caught the sequins on the dancers' costumes.
How many dancers? One or more than one?
The apostrophe in each example shows possession - cloakroom belonging to pupils, football team belonging to girls, costumes belonging to dancers.
In each example there are more than one. They are all plural.
What do you notice about the position of the apostrophe?
When the apostrophe is used to show plural possession, it is positioned after the s.
the pupils' cloakroom (cloakroom belonging to more than one pupil)
the girls' football team (football team belonging to more than one girl)
the dancers' costumes (costumes belonging to more than one dancer)

LC: To reflect on how can we protect the environment around me by reusing.
What a busy week it is this week! As well as it being our special Book Week and World Book Day today, Science Week starts tomorrow and it is also Waste Week!
Do you remember learning about recycling last week? Can you remember why it's important to reduce waste?
Today, we are going to learn about another way to reduce waste - reusing our resources.

We are going to celebrate World Book Day with Burnley Youth Theatre's live-Streaming of a story telling session which is aiming to get children far and wide together for a mass reading of a wonderful story which explore this year's theme
"Reading for Pleasure!"
We will celebrate the love of reading with Charly the Storyteller reading:
