To use sentences with different forms.
Talk with your talking partner about which types of sentences these are (all of the sentences are missing the punctuation mark at the end.) Use the words:
Statement Question Command Exclamation
What a beautiful day it is to do some bird watching
Can you tell me the way to the pond please
Wash your hands for 20 seconds
There are over 200 species of owl
Let's take a look at how different sentences have been used in this advert.

Why have they used a question? Who is supposed to answer it?
Can you find an example of a co-ordinating conjunction?
Can you find an example of a subordinating conjunction?
Today we are going to write a question like this about something to do at our attraction.


Look at the images and think of as many similarities and differences as you can.
Think about:

appearance
-
what they do
-
where they might be found
Now, decide which one is the odd one out and why.
Did you know the three images showing a dandelion in bud, in flower and as a ‘clock’, did you notice that we’re looking at the same type of plant in each picture?
We are going to go outside to see whereabouts in the school grounds we can find plants growing. Remember to take your IPad to photograph the different places that you find plants growing.
Did any of the places you found plants surprise you? Why were you surprised?
