Before we start reading this exciting story, there are a few words/phrases we need to know the meaning of first:
daring- adventurous courage
treacherous- hidden or unpredictable dangers
overcoming challenges- succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty
Let's take a look at the blurb and look for clues to find out more about the story.
Mrs Fernandes and Mr Latif will model how to use these words in a sentence then it's your turn to choose one and write a sentence of your own.
Science
Look at the images, think of as many similarities and differences as you can.
Think about:
- appearance
- what they do
- where they might be found
2. Decide which one is the odd one out and why. You must give a reason for every answer and there is no wrong answer!
Talk to your partner.
