LC: To make observations on how an object is more or less visible in different levels of lighting.
We need light to see. Light can come from many different sources. Something that produces it's own light is known as a source of light.
With your talking partners, discuss;
Where can we get light from?
Why do you think ‘light’ is important?
Some animals are sources of light such as fireflies and glow worms.
Light travels faster than anything in the universe and it always travels in straight lines.
Let's do a quick quiz to test our knowledge:
We are going to observe how an object from our classroom may appear more or less visible depending on different levels of lighting. let’s turn off the lights and close the blinds!
Which light source do you think will provide the greatest and least visibility?
Record your observations in the table.
