Friday

Let's look at our poem again from yesterday.

/i/J_Fernandes/the-owl-and-the-pussycat-by-edward-lear-ytshorts_savetube_me.mp4

There are some real words in the poem that you may not have heard before and some nonsense words.

Have a look at the poem on your table. With your partner can you find any new words, think about if the are a real word or a nonsense word.

Yesterday, we learnt that this poem is full of imaginative ideas—animals sailing a boat, buying rings, playing guitar, etc.

Today you are going to draw a illustration for one part of the poem.
