Use drama techniques to learn your Paddington story by heart.
Today we are going to finish, check and practice learning our Paddington story off by heart.
You can use a number of different techniques when doing this.
1. Freeze Frame - Children create still images with their bodies to represent key moments in a story.
2. Hot seating - One child becomes a character and answers questions from their partner.
3. Mime/ movement - Children act without speaking to focus on action, gesture, and expression.
4. Practice using Kung Fu Punctuation!
To be able to find half of a set.
Turn to page 113 and 114.
Can you describe the differences and similarities between your work and Stephen Wiltshire’s?
You are going to look at your artwork from this half term, how is your work similar to Stephen Wiltshire’s work? How is your work different?
Remember Stephen Wiltshire used
- vertical lines
- horizontal lines
- hatching
- cross hatching
My work is similar because …
My work is different because …
