Mrs Bird is the Browns’ housekeeper. She is very stern and strict, but she is also caring and loving. Mrs Bird is very wise and always knows the right thing to do. She is firm when she needs to be, but she is also very supportive and nurturing. Mrs Bird is always protective of Paddington and the Brown family. Even though she can seem serious, she is very calm and hospitable, making everyone feel welcome in the house.
