Today, you are going to apply the knowledge you have gained in History by organising the facts in Tim Peake and Sir Robert Falcon Scott’s life onto a non chronological report skeleton. 
You are going to look through your history books to collect the information for your report.

We are going to the STEAM hub to finish making our vehicles.

 Can we use our research skills to place people and events onto a timeline, using the vocabulary of passing time? 


Today we are going to complete a timeline about all the different explorers we have learned about.

 

Make notes on these different explorers:

- Ibn Battuta

- Neil Armstrong

- Amelia Earhart

- Tim Peake 

- Sir Robert Falcon Scott

 

Each table has a different explorer to look at. On post-it-notes you will write when the explorer was born, when they died and where they went. Then, we will add our information to a timeline. 
 

Use the following words in your sentences: 

before, after, a long time ago, past, present. 
 

For example:

Before I was born…

A long time ago Tim Peake explored…

After Sir Robert Falcon Scott…
