To be able to recognise four basic 3D solid shapes: spheres, cubes, cuboids and pyramids
Starter - Let's have a look at some 3D shapes on our tables. Can you recognise any?
A 3D shape is a 3 dimensional shape which is NOT flat.
We can see all around the shape including the bottom, top and all the different sides.
Read the word carefully and see if you can match it to the correct 3D shape.
How can you identify and match the different shapes?
