Play Numbers to 20 - Spin the wheel (eliminating the number each time) In pairs, children make the number using ten frames- filling 10 first.

When we think about a character, we have to describe lots of different aspects. What do they look like? What words can we use to describe them? Are they tall? or short? 

Read the start of The Ugly Five, read to page 4 (last sentence Then the wildebeest shouted...)
