The Global Goals are special goals that people all around the world have agreed on to help look after people, animals and the Earth. They remind us to be kind, to share, and to care for our planet so it stays healthy and happy.
Today we are going to learn about something very special called Global Goal 15 ‘Life on Land.’
Life on land means all the plants, animals, trees and insects that live on our Earth — in the woods, the fields, the gardens and even in our own backyards. In R.E. we talked about how God made the world and he asked us to look after all the creatures and be kind to them. Animals need homes, just like we do. They live in different places around the world like forests, the ocean, the arctic and some we keep as pets. These homes are called habitats. Global Goal 15 helps us remember that we must care for animals, plants and the land, so they can stay happy and safe.
