The Story of Rama and Sita
For Hindus, this story is very important because it teaches us how goodness is more important than evil.
Look at the characters from the story. Were they good or bad? Why?
- Rama - the main character and the eldest son of the king
- Sita - Rama's wife
- Dasaratha - the king and Rama's father
- Laksmana - Rama's brother
- Ravana - the evil king with 10 heads, 20 arms, red eyes and yellow fangs
- Hanuman - the monkey king
Work in table groups and place the characters in the table provided. Give reasons for your decisions.
