Words ending in 'able' and 'ible' are adjectives.

What words do you know that end in these suffixes

 

Words with the suffixes 'ibly' and 'ably' are adverbs and can modify a verb, adjective, or another adverb.

A pilgrimage generally means a trip, often a long one, made to a holy place for religious reasons.
