What is Global Warming and Climate Change?

Lets find out...

We will be participating in a range of activities to collect information for our new unit and our learning wall.

What is climate change?

Polar bear facts/ polar bears are special.

What are the effects of climate change?

How is climate change having an effect upon polar bears?

View and discuss the advert below.

Listen, stop, lets take notes.

Purpose and audience for our new non-fiction unit:

Mrs Davison was delivering a year 5 assembly last week and after watching a video on climate change, she realised that the children didn’t understand what is happening in the Arctic in relation to climate change and polar bears. Year 4, can you help by informing and explaining the current crisis to KS2 children? Can you also persuade KS2 children to take action in order to help reduce the speed in which climate change is happening?
