Remember:

Full stops go at the end of sentences.
Question marks go at the end of questions.
Exclamation marks show surprise, force or anger.

We will be focusing on chunk 2 and introduce Zabina the owl, we will be including a description and her character traits.

Task 1:

Where are your eyes drawn to on the image?

First, second, third, fourth?

Jot a sequence.

We will watch some videos on owls and add to our grid on owls from this morning's reading lesson.

Teacher model: Use all the information/poems explored to create a short burst poem. We will Structure the poem via the sequence explored for each physical feature.

Your turn: Using the teacher model write your own poem using the sequence below. Children can plan their own. Remember you must include noun phrases and some similes.
