LC: To retrieve and record information from non-fiction.
Yesterday, we had a look at a non-fiction text on dogs. Today we are going to have a look at another text. We will read it together and ensure that we understand it properly to be able to retrieve information.
Are there any words that you do not understand the meaning of?
Together on the board, we will highlight the words that we are unsure about before we answer the questions.
