We can use the context and clues to predict what might happen next. Let's watch a short clip...

Predictions

Collectively, let's take a look at the following paragraph and think what might happen next.

Let's try another one together...

Independent

Once upon a time, in a peaceful village, there lived a small boy named Timmy. One sunny afternoon, while exploring the woods, he stumbled upon a hidden doorway. Curiosity bubbled inside him as he pushed it open. Suddenly, he found himself in a world where enormous giants roamed, their laughter echoing like thunder!

Timmy's heart raced as he spotted a giant with a twinkling eye and a friendly smile, holding a giant cookie. "Would you like a cookie, little one?" boomed the giant. Just as Timmy nodded eagerly, a shadow loomed above him.

What do you think could happen next?

I predict...

Once upon a time in the enchanted Kingdom of Glimmerdale, an Evil Queen plotted to steal the magic from the stars! With her wicked daughter, Princess Luna, by her side, they devised a plan. “We shall capture the Star Crystal from the Great Mountain!” cackled the Queen. As the sun set, they sneaked through the whispering woods, where the shadows danced around them. Suddenly, they heard a rustle in the bushes.

Could it be the brave Knight or perhaps a wise old owl? What do you think will happen next? Will they succeed in their evil quest?
