What is a prediction?
Prediction is using evidence from a text to say what may happen next, what events may unfold or how a character may behave.

It was a beautiful sunny day in Burnley. Lola and Tommy were playing with their hula hoops in the garden. Lola loved playing with her hula hoops, especially with Tommy. Suddenly, a huge, dark cloud covered the sun. Tommy dropped his hoop and looked up. “Lola, look!” shouted Tommy.
