Wednesday

Children will be able to write their own Paddington adventure story, which includes complex sentences using a range of conjunctions

Today we are going continue our independent write of our Paddington Story. Our focus is to use the following conjunctions:

when

- before

- after

- while

- until

Remember if you get stuck or not sure what to write next look back at your story map.

Now your teacher will model the next part of the independent write.

To be able to tell time on the 12-hour clock in multiples of 5 minutes, including ‘quarter past’ and ‘quarter to’.

Turn to page 127 and 128.

Can you use simple fieldwork and observational skills to study the geography of school and its grounds and the key human and physical features of its surrounding environment?

Talk to your partner, are these human or physical features?

2F Geography - Local environment

We are going to use Google maps, to see if there are any other human or physical features in the local environment that we didn’t observe on our walk.

Look carefully at this image of the school grounds, label the different features, then identify if they are human or physical features.
