Children will be able to write their own Paddington adventure story, which includes effective use of noun phrases.

Today we are going to start our independent write of our Paddington Story. Our focus is to add expanded noun phrases. 

Remember if you get stuck or not sure what to write next look back at your story map.

Now your teacher will model the first part of the independent write. 

To be able to tell time on the 12-hour clock in multiples of 5 minutes, including ‘quarter past’.

Turn to page 125 and 126.

What human and physical features do you know surrounding school? What do you see on your walk to school? Are they human or physical features? 

We are going to go and study the environment surrounding school to see what human and physical features we can identify.

In your geography book, write a list of human and physical features that you observed.
