Friday

To identify and collect favourite words and phrases from a text.

Now we have finished reading the story, we are going to think about what language we can use in our own writing.

In the book, each chapter described dark using an adjective.

Dark is KIND

Dark is NECESSARY

How was Simon’s brain different to Mathew’s?

Remind your partner what does neurodivergent mean?

Does change always make things better?

Can you manipulate materials in a variety of ways- folding, twisting, crumpling, overlapping?

A collage is a piece of art made from different pieces of paper, photos and other materials. Collages also might have painting and drawing on them. Collage artists spend time arranging the materials and trying out different ideas, before sticking them onto a surface.
