This morning we went to Mr McGregor’s garden to steal some radishes. He stamped down the path but we pinched some crunchy purple radishes from the ground. First he chased us with a rake. Then he threw a pot at us. After that he tried to get us with his spade. I was terrified!

What questions can we ask to find out more information about the past from someone with a living memory of Burnley high street?

Today we will be asking questions about what Burnley High street looked like in the past and send your amazing questions to someone with a living memory of it!

Think carefully about the question you want to ask to gather information about the shops, the transport, what the town center looked like or how people used to pay for things. 

 

 

To be able to split an object (shape) into two equal parts. To be able to identify shapes that have been split into two equal parts.

Imagine your piece of paper is a cake!
How would you fold the paper so you have two equal pieces of cake: one piece for yourself and one piece for your friend?
 
We need to make sure the paper is folded equally in half!
