What is length?

Length is the measurement  of something from one point to another.

Can we measure the length of these items using the paper clips?

Which is shorter? 

Can we measure the length of these items using the cubes?

Which is longer? 

Get a range of objects and use cubes to compare the length? Which is the longest? Which is the shortest? Can we put them in order?
